Foot/ankle swelling: any good recipes

Hi,
My SIL just had her baby girl last week. During the last few months of her pg, she had a ton of ankle and foot swelling-but thankfully not due to preclampsia. Now postpartum, she is still quite swolen. Does anyone have a good recipe that I could make her for afoot soak that may decrease the swelling? I'd love to make something for her that would help ease her discomfort.

TIA

Are you looking for herbs?
You can add sea salt and/or stimulating herbs to any hot foot soak - herbs like mustard or ginger (powdered is easiest). They all help to increase the circulation in the area which in turn helps to move the excess fluid back into the circulation.

I'm also a fan of alternating hot and cold foot soaks.
