One Size Fitteds?

Thread Starter
So over the years my diapering preferences have evolved, which is a really fun hobby IMO, and I am strongly considering upping the ante of fitted diapers I have in my stash. Mostly because at the moment I love using natural fibers and wool soakers best ! It occurs to me, as I do have a lot of diapers already, that it might be worth investing in one size fitted diapers. What are your experiences with them? Do you have a favorite? I am especially drawn to the natural fiber ones...

Thanks for your input!

I love, love, love Mother Ease one size diapers! THey come in cotton or bamboo, and are my favorite of all my diapers. The fact that they're made in canada is a bonus too. I'd highly recommend them. They're affordable, durable, and most importantly, work great!

I like organic cotton MEOS.

big Mother-ease fan here, too.

I Bella Bottoms. They are cute, very absorbent, are affordable and are made quite well. I actually think they fit better than the various sized fitteds I use, too.

They can get really pricy if you look at the B4's or goodmamas.

I am experimenting with sewing some right now. It is fun. You can do them with a snap down rise and snap in flap soaker that you only snap in when the baby gets bigger.

I like to have options who has time to sell diapers every 6 months? That is why I like OS's.

I love b4's, and I have one goodmama, but I can't see how they would be a true OS diaper. The goodmama has a bit of growing room on my 2 year old, but the b4 won't last much longer, and she's a tiny thing. Maybe the new version is better?

I agree Erin that often the OS's aren't truly OS. How can they be really? It just isn't practical. But if you buy smartly you can get away with maybe 2 sizes instead of 4.

Haven't seen you on EFF lately. I haven't been on much myself since I don't find it very fulfilling.

Stay away from Bambineo OS fitteds. That's all I know about OS fitteds.

I really like Muttaquin 3r's http://www.muttaqinbaby.com/diapers.html http://hyenacart.com/MuttaqinBaby/
they come in really cute prints & are pretty absorbant. They fit really well under wool soakers. They are a bit pricy new, but it is easy to find EUC ones for about $10 on diaperswappers or spots on Hyena cart.

We just started using the MEOS and love them. I've been waiting for them to fit my little one. At about 11 pounds they now fit with out leg gaps. I was given my stash of ME by my sister who has CD all 7 of her kids. ME are her favorite! These are used by at least one or two of her kids and are still in great shape. I think that says a lot. My sister-in-law gifted us 6 new ones as well as they were also her favorites. DH likes the snaps too. Once I showed him which size to snap them too he much prefers these to our prefolds.
