I just wanted to say a quick thanks to anyone who's posted on this board. I had the I'm Pregnant page open on our browser a few nights ago and had to leave the computer before going to my DDC. When DP sat down to use it he saw the "Case Against Circumcision", clicked on it and spent the next two hours reading.
We have two sons and are expecting our third baby this fall. The u/s has us believing it's a girl but you never know. Anyway, our boys are not intact and simply because we were told that's what you did. DP is circed and so we thought that's how our boys were supposed to be too. Now, knowing what I do I did not want to circ this baby if it is a boy but I was dreading talking to DP about it, thinking he'd want to.
Well, after he spent time reading through the posts and hearing what you smart, awesome folks had to say he broached the subject with me and said he does not want to circ if this baby is a boy.

So, that's my little story. I realize we probably won't have to make that choice again as we're probably having a girl this time and it's our last babe but it's sooo nice to know that it wouldn't have been something that I was alone on. Thank you all for educating myself and my DP!!!!

Leila. It is never too late to become an intactivist. You never know. Your experience with circ'ing and later deciding to leave future children intact may be invaluable to an expectant mom. Glad you found us!
