BabyHawk?

I really want to wear my DD but I'm not having much luck so far. I've tried a sling, pouch, and a maya ring sling. I didn't feel comfy in any of them. I want something thats easy to use. How is the baby hawk? It looks really easy to use? Does it make baby really warm during the hot summer months? Can you nurse while wearing it? My DD doesn't like the cradle hold she likes tummy to tummy.

Does it make baby really warm during the hot summer months? it is cooler than a wrap or more structured thicker carrier (ergo), but any thing that holds a babe against you will get warm. I have a lighter color BH that is cooler than my husband's black one
Can you nurse while wearing it? yup takes a bit or practice, but you can by loosening the straps & lowering your babe to the 'boobah'
My DD doesn't like the cradle hold she likes tummy to tummy.BH's carry upright & if your babe is too small for legs out you can keep them in froggy style
Hope this helps We our Baby Hawks!

If you didn't find a pouch or ring sling comfy at all I'm wondering what kind did you use? What kind of problems did you encounter using it? If used correctly they should be very comfortable.

As far as the BH though they are plenty comfy for a front carry. Easy to nurse in. Fine for hot weather. I don't like the super padded straps when doing a back carry (ruck sac style) though.

I loved my Babyhawk when DS was smaller (and before I discovered wrapping). It was very easy to learn, and I jumped straight to back carries. As with any carrier, it will take a bit of practice to get it just right, but once you get the hang of it, it is totally worth it. IMO, MT's, like the babyhawk, are one of the easiest carriers to learn, and since they are infinitely adjustable (unlike a buckle carrier) it makes it really easy to get the right fit.
