New book--real food for babies and toddlers

This seems like a book that a lot of MDCers would love... it isn't exactly crunchy, but it is breastfeeding-friendly, and I just love the ideas about feeding kids REAL food from the time they start solids. Have you all seen that horrid commercial for the special "healthy" yogurt drops for toddlers? None of that, thanks.

(It's not a gluten-free book, BTW)

Quoting from the review:

"this is not your typical Feeding Baby book. Thank goodness. Every other one of those I have read is sanctimonious, terribly out of touch, and boring. This is the only one that has ever made me laugh."

That's a different book--this one is called Hungry Monkey, and it's written by a stay-at-home dad. It's actually quite different from Nina Planck's book, which I thought was pretty didactic and anxious. Hungry Monkey is funny and reassuring, with lots of good recipes and anecdotes.
