Weleda deoderant UPDATE (last post)

Anyone have any experience? I've not had the best luck with natural deoderants so I am skeptical.

I've used it in the past (the citrus one I think), I seem to remember being VERY impressed with it - clearly you can't compare natural deodorants to chemical antiperspirants, they do different things. If you never ever want to smell a bit bodily, then you can't do that naturally (unless you wash every couple of hours) IME.

I have the rose one and can only wear it when I'm not going outside or I'll attract bees. Haha.

Yea I really don't like body odor
Thanks guys. I like the crystal rock deos...even Kiss My Face's liquid one. But both seem to stop working after the first few times.
Hmm.

Aubrey has a couple... E + something or other, and the men's stock one (which I like, and doesn't seem TOOO manly). My husband prefers Aubrey to the salt deos but I like the salt deos... I just keep em around so when I feel perspiration I keep giving myself a couple squirts so the moistness doesn't develop odor.

If you notice a lot of odor, maybe try a fast or cleanse?

Yea my health is a bit of a mess.

I have an opportunity to get some Weleda stuff so I wanted to see if it was worth it. I know products can be different for everyone though.

Thanks for the replys

I have used the Sage, Citrus and the Rose Weleda deodorant. They have been the most effective natural deodorants I've ever used (and I have tried them all ) I don't shave my pits, so I like the fact that it's a spray so it doesn't get my hair all clogged up. The only thing I've noticed is that the bugs seem to really like the way I smell this year (black flies and mosquitoes.) Yeah, definitely give it a try - I love the way they smell...

I use this too...the Sage kind...and I love it. I'm a sweaty person with hairy armpits and it works better than any other natural deodorant I've tried.

Cool, I'll try that next. Honestly I was very sceptical so its a happy surprise. I had to announce it because I know that finding a good natural deo is an issue for a lot of us.

I will try that next too. Thanks!

I'm really tempted by the Welda deoderants. I just use a mixture of tea tree oil and lavender (3/4 ratio)- about 3-4 drops in each pit. Re-apply as needed.
The smells come from bacteria in your pits...the tea tree oil helps to take care of 'em. It's all I've used for the past 2 years (I had really poor luck with the natural deoderants). I think using deoderants that are liquid based works better than solids (especially if you're a infrequent shaver, like me).

The Weldas come in such wonderful smells...I'm gonna try it too!

I love the weleda citrus deoderent. It has been the only natural one that has actually worked for me. If you go to the vitacost website, you can buy it for half the price that stores sell it at.

This is great info Tom's of Maine is burning my pits and I can't stand the smell of LUSH's aromacreme.
