Neil Gaiman - where to start? - Page 2

I really enjoyed Neverwhere most of all and I'm not a big fantasy type reader. Loved it. Then we bought the series on DVD (try BBC America.com) and it was fun to watch.

American Gods was great, Anansi Boys was just ok. I couldn't really get into Stardust, but I think I might watch the movie and then reread.

My husband read sall the graphic novels but I'm not a fan, so I can't really help much there.

Blueberry Girl is a brand new children's book. Love it!

I would start with Sandman.

Sandman series, definitely. I fell in love w/ NG's work when my boyfriend turned me onto him. I was about seventeen years old at the time. Gosh I feel old! Also check out Dante's Disciples, it's a compilation of short stories from various writers, very Gaiman-ish, infact he wrote the intro I beleive. Nice creepy stuff to read at night w/ a glass of wine...
