Another all nighter with reflux

Not sure what I ate, my ds (11 months) has reflux which I think is related to allergens in my breastmilk.

I have been on a dairy free diet and that seemed to have helped slightly. I had cheesecake for Mothers Day (2 days ago)... he was fine the first night, so I thought I got lucky! The past two nights have been horrid.

He is having double burn (I can hear it coming up) at least twice an hour and he is so congested that he is waking up crying every hour.

I am having reflux as well. I stayed away from reflux foods all day. I had:
-avocado
-organic salsa
-ground beef
-lettuce
-lentils
-brown rice cereal with rice milk
-wheat cereal with rice milk

How do I take the burn away? Is there something I can eat or take? Is it possible that the reflux I am experiencing right now is causing reflux in ds?

Bonnie, your Mother's Day oops sounds like my Easter oops, when I tried cheese thinking "it can't get any worse, right?" HA, it can and did and it was horrible for a week. Turns out, I am allergic to milk/cheese/kefir and he reacts to how my body reacts. Its good though, your oops is showing you that there is a food problem driving the night waking. I am more new at this, so other mommas who respond may have better advice, but I would start with healing foods, adding water kefir, bone broths, gelatin, and lots of grassfed meat and eggs to your diet to kickstart the healing. Oh and eliminate all the obvious and hidden sources of the Top 8 allergens, to start with to see if you see improvement

My kids reacted 24 hours after I ate the trigger food.
If you want to take out more than dairy, I'd say dairy, gluten, soy, and corn, as those are the top 4 intolerances. And yes, barring a structural defect, most children's reflux is from dietary causes.
