"One finger between chin and chest"---includes fat rolls/double chin?

My little girl has quite the little fat roll around her neck, and when wearing her in the Moby in the cradle hold, there's definitely a finger between her chin bone and her chest, but the fat rolls fill in a lot of the space. Is this okay? She's not grunting, but making the little sleepy squeal sometimes when she exhales (which she does outside the wrap, too). She's otherwise very happy. TIA!

I would be vigilant in general if you prefer to have your child in cradle position. The chin should not be touching the chest in general, so the baby's airway is open. When I am giving presentations in BWing, I don't recommend cradle position precisely because there is a risk of people not being careful, and baby ending up with a blocked airway leading to accidental suffocation.

Especially with newborns, their heads are very large and heavy. Plus, they won't squirm or protest in a vigorous noisy fashion to tell you they are in respiratory distress.

Babies who are held in a baby carrier vertically, tummy to tummy, can rest their head on your chest, thus alieviating reflux and reducine the chances of the baby's head slumping to their chest and the potential of accidental suffocation.
