waiting for baby... - Page 2

I've been lurking for awhile now but decided to come out of hiding I'm sitting here waiting right along with you all. I'm 41 weeks today and this baby shows NO signs of being in a hurry to come out! I'm getting a little nervous because I see my doctor on Monday and he's wanting to do every test under the sun and already indicated at my last appt that he's ready to start up with the interventions (which I'm trying to avoid like the plague. I'm very much hoping for a vbac).

I hate feeling so discouraged. Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. I feel like I"ve been pregnant forever!
I feel you. You described exactly what I'm feeling ....*sigh*

Yesterday was my EDD, so I'm definitely on the "waiting" list, as well.

Thank you for the welcome It is nice to hear that I'm not the only person in the world with a baby who's decided to stay put past my "due date". Makes me feel a little more normal I guess (though I certainly hope that none of those Moms have to wait too much longer to meet their little ones).

I am so bored here awaiting the arrival of my baby. I'm 39 weeks and 2 days today. I'm staying at a Ronald McDonald House near my birth center due to the 3 hour drive from my house to the birth center. Today they painted the basement so watching tv and doing laundry has been out. My dog is at home with family, and I miss him. I want my baby to be born so we can go home. I've only been here for two days, and I'm bored out of my mind. I'm having contractions every six minutes during the day and night. At night they are crampy, but during the day they are not crampy. I called my midwife today to ask whether they were braxton hicks or true contractions and she didn't know, but said it sounds like I'm getting close. She told me to just to eat, drink, and be merry because I'm going to have a baby one of these days. Oh, I wish he would just come soon.
