So, Ivy is now home! We missed all the storms on our way there, and just caught the tail end of one on the way back. She is snoozing at my feet as I post this She is wonderful! So laid back and calm, but yet inquisitive and playful. She was playing with the kids so gently, even when very excited. Now, my other dog is being a crab butt, but he is not being horrible. He is growly and snarly when she gets close, but he ignores her when she's away. He will play fetch in the front yard with us while shes wandering around, just gets bitchy if she gets close. When she is in her crate, he completely ignores her. My husband took them both on a walk together as well.
I got to meet her mom, her grandmother, brother from another litter, aunts, etc today. All of her dogs had such wonderful personalities and were so much fun to play with! Ivy was great the whole ride home, didnt make a peep. In fact, she didnt make a peep until she was ready for dinner a couple hours after we got home....I was beginning to think her mute LOL Anyways, I didnt get very good pics cause it was a bit crazy, but I will add a couple that are ok. My 19 month old son had been pretending to be a dog off and on lately, and today with the addition of Ivy, was really into it. He was coverd in mud from crawling around on all fours with her. Whenver she would lay down, he would plop right next to her....he was even trying to carry a tennis ball in his mouth
