Bday ideas for 7 yo DD!

I really think this is a special age to turn. DD1 lost 2 teeth and got her first 2 adult teeth recently. She is a big sister and a really special and caring young girl. She feels very grown up and just wants to be old already. I want to do something really special for her or with her.

Any ideas? I was hoping some of you could share your experiences. I was thinking of doing a special little ceremony with just me and her.

We are having an adult/kid party on the weekend after her birthday with five families. We will also have dinner and cake with just us on Thursday night for her actual Bday.

TIA for your ideas!

What about the two of you getting really dressed up and either going on a picnic together, or going to a really nice resturant for lunch? Maybe you could even give her a little corsage to wear, to make her feel really special.

B- day ideas

HI,
My Rhiannon will be 7 in March. We have really enjoyed getting dressed up and going to a local British Tea Room. We chat like girlfriends and use our hands to talk with grand gestures! It's "all very posh, don't you know?". It's like grown up dress up time to me. SO MUCH FUN!
Also, this year she wants us to go to Sea World to swim with the dolphins. If it is too expensive we are going to go camping together, just the two of us.

Something I did recently with my 7 yo ds is...

we rented a room at a hotel with a pool. then we swam and got into the hot tub and had a blast. These dang January birthdays stink, ykwim? but man we had a blast at this one. So much fun and swimming was the best. good luck and you guys have fun with whatever you do.

It was an indoor pool! :LOL

I agree with the ideas above, a nice lunch at a restaurant with mom would be nice. Maybe have some one take a picture of the 2 of you and buy her a picture frame to keep in her room?
