my 3.5 year old ds is potty training, and it's been a challenge with him. He's been showing a lot of improvement lately, although we're still having accidents. We've noticed a definitely pattern in that he poops in his pants mostly when dh is home. He's very close to him, and we're wondering if it's because he's so busy playing with him that he doesn't want to interrupt it, or if it's because of something else? Has anyone known another child to do something like this?

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Maybe your DH doesn't know your son's cues, like you do. That's all that I can think of.

"ME, ME, ME!!"
Taylor doesnt have accidents with me anymore. BUT he pretty much always does with hubby. Hubby really didnt know this though. He thought Taylor just had accidents all the time. Hubby was getting VERY angry at Taylor every time he had an accident too. We finally talked a bit and things are at least better in that hubby isnt angry. I have been trying to give hubby helpful hints too.
So far not much change though. It is exactly as you say, he gets SO excited/busy that he forgets. Yesterday hubby asked Taylor to cook me dinner, and he was so excited and busy he was startled to see a pee-puddle on the floor! "Were did that come from Daddy?"
: I almost seems like he has to train twice or something? We are sort of assuming this is normal though since he has NEVER in 4 months had an accident at preschool and was accident-free there way before with me. The other moms have noticed the same thing with their boys too.
