There used to be many cases of Typhoid Fever here in The States. There is a vaccine for it, but we don't take it here.

Are you afraid of Typhoid Fever? You know, as in Typhoid Mary.

Typhoid Fever vaccine is not part of our line up here. Not yet (it might be at some point...) Are you afraid of typhoid fever now? Do you consider the risk of it to your kids? Does it occur to you to worry about contracting Typhoid Fever?

As with the plague and scarlet fever...nope not afraid of it. I have travelled to regions of the world where this vaccine is given and didn't get it for mysef.
