Latest ACIP minutues. Long but very interesting. I wish I could cut and paste but it's a pdf!

look at page 40 in particular. It is discussing teh safety trials for pentacal (the new dtap/hib/polio vax). It says most non serious adverse events that were reported were assessed as "non-related to vaccination bvy the investigators" and that there were 5 deaths (this is a study of 2000 babies) that were all "unrealted to vaccination"

first of all we all know that only healthy babies with no underlying medical conditions are accepted to participate in these trials and unless they are saying the deaths were by a car accident than I would be very wary in accepting their assurances that they were not vaccine related. It gives no details but I bet they were labeled SIDS cases which we all know is unrelated to vaccines.
Also who are these investigators?? Sanofi pasteur investigators Im sure since they are the ones conducting the safety trials...

It's always amazing to me that:

1. These are only tested on perfectly healthy babies and then recommended to all.

and

2. That these perfectly healthy babies drop dead days after vaccination and yet, there is no connection (excepting of course the car accident you mentioned)
