dandelion jelly?

Has anyone here made dandelion jelly? The recipes I've seen look pretty simple (I'm not planning on heat-canning them, just making a few jars to store fresh in the fridge). Is it delicious? No one else in my family is the least bit interested, and I kind of don't want to waste the time and resources if it isn't tasty and no one but me is willing to even try it!

Please share your dandelion recipe experiences, mamas!

While I've never made dandelion jelly, I've eaten it lots!!! My Grandma makes it every year, and suprisingly it tastes like honey, but um... lighter, or wilder, or more nectarish? Clear as mud hey!?!

It's delicious and good for you! I say make a small batch and see what the fam thinks!

Sure thing, LavenderMae! This is the one I've been looking at; it calls for liquid pectin: http://www.prairielandherbs.com/dandelionjelly.htm I especially appreciate all the helpful photos.

Thanks! I've never made jelly so I have idea where to buy liquid pectin or if it's in the budget etc but dandelion jelly sure looks tasty!
