Apparently I have a stomach of steel...

Membrane sweep yesterday....
Good nights sleep with mild contractions that didn't really wake me or anything...
Castor oil this AM....

......NOTHING! It didn't even make me go to the bathroom, other than my normal AM trip. WTF? I had what has become my normal routine of contractions that go no where, not any stronger, not doing anything. As much as I am ready and going crazy from being pregnant and facing a RCS, babe does not want to come out yet.

If the castor oil works on you like most laxative type stuff works on me, it will sneak up on you later tonight. I once took a Dulcolax and it took 12 hours to kick in. (And "gentle dependable relief" is a lie...lol)

The castor oil never took effect, even over night or this AM - no out of the ordinary bathroom trips, lol.

Now I'm cramping though, have a BAD lower back ache and am losing more mucus plug with spots of blood, so I'm hoping once again that this is it. I'm going food shopping in a little while to see if they pick up while I walk a lot.

I took 3 table spoons total, over a period of 3 hours starting at 8:30 in the morning yesterday. Still no effect today, over 24 hours later, just normal. The midwife suggested spacing it out and using a low dose, to try to nudge things along without creating a disaster. The bottle said 3-4 tablespoons for normal use, but I guess it either doesn't work for me, or it wasn't enough to get the effect we were looking for. I've taken lax's before, usually Senokot, and one dose works like magic.

I'm going back to my RRL, EPO, pineapple, and walking.
