Okay Ladies............................................ .......

Who's In

So we were all burned by Jason on the last season of the Bachelor.

Can ABC redeem itself with Jillian's season of the Bachelorette?

I have to admit that I've never watched any season of the Bachelorette before but I'm really looking forward to this one because Jillian is just awesome

The new show starts on Monday. Go here for trailers.

I am SO in. I'll be watching on Tuesdays though on abc.com (no tv here)

I'm in!

The bachelor/bachellorette shows I love/hate. I hate them because they always end up breaking up and getting hurt, but I just can't stay away!

The drama gets me every time!

Oh man, I watched the Bachelor/ette series for the first time tonight! My husband was sitting at his computer saying "This is the stupidest show ever" but I dunno, ever since I've had the baby, all I want to watch on TV are reality shows.

Did she pick Kiptyn? During the rose ceremony my daughter woke up and wanted to be nursed, and we were packing for our road trip tomorrow, so I missed a few of the guys. I thought he was ADORABLE!

I loved last nights episode, but I have to admit that I fell asleep at the end because I was just "closing my eyes for a second" during the commercial. You know how that goes. Time to watch it online...

Oh, and didn't Jillian seem a bit drunk?
post #12 of 230
Am I the only one who didn't find any of those guys appealing at all? I wonder how much of a list she gives the producers to try to find guys she's compatible with.
post #13 of 230
Anyone have a list of who she picked or didn't pick? My DVR screwed up the recording .. argh! I only saw the first half.

My early favorites are Juan and that cute pilot. I missed the rose ceremony.

I love the Pilot and the Oil and Gas consultant. I missed the Rose Ceremony too and abc.com is constantly skipping for some reason (it's usually the best internet player for me) so I'm not going to watch.

I found this list of who she did pick from here.

"First impression rose: David, a 27-year-old trucking contractor from Dayton, OH, who got nervous and lost his words when introducing himself.

The 19 bachelors who received roses at the rose ceremony were:

- Brad, a 27-year-old financial advisor from Chicago, IL;
- Brian; Ed, a 29-year-old technology consultant from Chicago, IL;
- Jake; a 31-year-old commercial pilot from Dallas, TX
- Jesse, a 27-year-old wine maker from Carmel Valley, CA;
- Juan, a 35-year-old general contractor from Santa Monica, CA;
- Julien, a 34-year-old restaurateur from San Diego, CA;
- Kiptyn, a 31-year-old business developer from Encinitas, CA;
- Mathue, a 26-year-old personal trainer from Wichita, KS;
- Mark, a 26-year-old pizza entrepreneur from Denver, CO;
- Michael; a 25-year-old break dance instructor from Astoria, NY
- Mike, a 28-year-old baseball camp owner from New York, NY;
- Reid, a 30-year-old realtor from Philadelphia, PA;
- Robby, a 25-year-old bartender from Spring, TX;
- Sasha, a 27-year-old oil and gas consultant from Tiki Island, TX;
- Simon, a 26-year-old soccer coach from Bradford, England;
- Tanner F., a 28-year-old sales representative from Derby, KS;
- Tanner P.; a 30-year-old financial analyst from Dallas, TX
- Wes.; a 32-year-old musician from Austin, TX"

i'm watching it on ABC right now...i love the pilot and the cute guy from new york

I like the guy from Chicago, because he said he never watched the show but his mom thinks they'd be a great match. he didnt seem like he was trying "too hard."

I did like Juan, but there is something...off...about him, too intense, a little creepy. I guess we'll see how he plays out this season. But there is something there i dont like, which i didnt expect, because i liked him just fine during his little bio w/ his mom.

I like the pilot but he seems a little too...i dunno...nice? for Jillian. Maybe boring. We'll see.

I like the Serbian texan guy.

I didnt really like the musician, dont feel he is there for the right reasons.

THe breakdancing guy is ok, but seems a little young for her.

Too bad she kept creepy foot fetish guy.

Kiptyn seems really nice....i kind of got a vibe from him that maybe he's gay? Probably reading too much into it.

there werent too many people who really stood out to me as being "the one" for Jillian, but i dont expect too much fro this show anyway.

My favorite was steven the lawyer from ny, because he was funny and sarcastic, but he didnt even make the first cut. Oh well!

watching... it's so interesting to see the dynamics with a bunch of guys. Not something you get to see everyday! When i watch girls, it's all predictable and normal because i'm a girl, but this is different.

i agree about Juan. he seemed cool with his mom but i totally hated his attitude during the party.

i didn't like Stephen the lawyer, glad she did not pick him.

I like the pilot. the breakdancer. Kiptyn. Tanner the foot fettish guys is the one who seems gay to me! funny.

Seems like there's lots of drama to come, though! How may episodes is the show, anyone know?

i forgot to add, that it kinda creeped me out how when Jill would walk into a room full of guys they would start chanting "Hot Tub! Hot Tub!"...i dunno, just seemed classless to me.
