I think that in normal circumstances (i.e., dating one guy at a time)- I would be fine with the guy complimenting my ummm.. assets

I would be offended if a guy told me I had a "nice ass". I don't like that word, "ass". I'm not a hunk of meat, ya know? At the same time, though, it made me feel uncomfortable how everyone was ganging up on David, even after he was obviously trying to be a gentleman about it at that point (apologizing very nicely, etc.) After he apologizes graciously, what more do you want? Utter humiliation? Seriously, give him a break.

And Jake. What. The Heck. What's so wrong with him being a nice, "boy scout" kind-of-a-guy? Some of them were out for blood, they way they were (jealously?) trying to cut him down. I think he's great. Obviously most of the women there thought so, too. It was nice to see the guys shown up about the way they treated Jake and Juan. Poor Juan. I LOVED it when Chris Harrison said to David, about the "fake shot" incident, "Who gives a carp?"

And why do you think Reid "couldn't make it"? Maybe because she picks him in the end . . . .

I hope so!! They showed a speck of footage that he is the one to confront her next week- with a ring in his hand!! I am so looking forward to seeing him again.

Just popping in here. Sorry if this was already asked, but is anyone else having trouble watching the episodes on abc.com? Part way through the season, it would randomly freeze about 1/2 way through an episode, and then now their video player won't even load. It just gets to 30% and stops.

I have a pretty good computer, but if I'm the only one, I guess it could be something on my end.

I had the same problem and realized it was because of my pop-up blocker. I disabled it and was able to watch immediately.

Yeah, I don't mind if my husband says I have a nice ass, but the way David did it was gross, and he wasn't getting her very clear signals that she was uncomfortable and that made it really icky.

I have to make sure all other video players are closed (like youtube), and sometimes it gets to 30% and it takes a minute, but it eventually loads. Also last season, I watched the season on youtube that someone uploaded. That is an option. Sometimes if the abc player freezes, I have to restart my computer and them the next time I try watching, it is fine. The abc player drives me crazy.

The Jake thing was really weird. I mean, Jake seemed a little uptight for my personal tastes, but he seemed like a very nice, sincere guy, and good looking on top of it. They talk about middle school girls being cliquey and catty, but they don't have anything on some of the guys in that house. I thought the same thing about what happened with Juan. I think in the beginning, David was somewhat of a Queen Bee, and a lot of the guys wanted to cozy up to and be liked by him, so when he had an irrational hatred for Juan, they all jumped on him too. It was ridiculous.

I'm sure Reid "couldn't make it" because of whatever role he plays in the finale. Even if she doesn't choose him, I think whatever happens in the finale is big enough that it would be akward to talk to him and not bring it up, especially when Jillian came out.

Reality Steve said this is the first time in bachelor/ette history where one of the top three didn't show at the MTA show, and it's probably because she picks him. If Ed really does have the girlfriend (which we don't know) and Kiptyn is the next bachelor, then it makes sense.

About "who" gets to be the next bachelor.. I am so over dragging the top reject into the next season. It feels like time for a fresh start, ykwim? I certainly hope it is not Michael Stagliano. He is too sweet to be ruined that way. Kiptyn? bleh. And if Ed has a girlfriend... I may never watch again.

I guess I am the only one who is annoyed by Jake. he does seem kind of fake to me, but more like because he isn't in touch with his own shadow side, not so much because he's playing a role. But i guess that is playing a role...

anyway! Ed? really??? ugh. I was surprised to see Reid come up on that trailer for Monday's show.

I too think they should lay off having the runner up start the next show. But i love Micheal. I think he's awesome- sincere, funny, cute, wise.

I thought Reid might come back, it'll be interesting to watch on Tuesday (no cable, so I watch online) and see what happens.

I really didn't like Dave, but I'm glad he apologized to Jillian. I was neutral about Juan, and I really liked Micheal - he was a sweetie and so funny! I hope Jillian ends up with Reid though, and I have to agree with a pp that he's the most real. I mean seriously, getting engaged and then thinking that its actually going to work after 3 dates? 4 dates? maybe 5dates? eeewwwwwwwwwwwwww

Hmmm...interesting that they actually showed Reid coming back, and with a ring! Now I am really curious! Yeah, if Kypton is the next Bachelor, and Ed has a girlfriend, then I feel like the cat's out of the bag and we know who she chooses! Unless it's none of them!

I agree about David- as scary as he is, he WAS apologizing and they kept hounding him, it was almost humiliating. They should have accepted it and moved on.

And that was so yucky, how David and Mark were saying they just didnt like Juan because they are "midwest" and he is LA, so it was ok for them to treat him horribly just because he's different. It really scares me that people are being brought up to think that way and treat people like crap just because they're different, and they seemed to think that was perfectly reasonable.

I used to like Ed but now i think he's too wishy washy and I really don't get his short-shorts and ugly tank tops lol!

I must say though, watching the BTA episode last week...I really like Drunk Ed; he was too funny!
