I didn't watch the video linked but I was reading some posts on another reality tv site weeks ago and there were several people who personally saw Ed with his Chicago girlfriend during the time he was home (after he said he had to leave for his job).

I know you can't take an internet chat board as truth, but these women were pretty serious about their information and even gave dates and places. It was believed that he told this girl he was dating that he had to fly to CA to finish the Bachelorette but that he'd back as soon as the show was over. He was also rumored to have said that the producers wanted him back for ratings and that he didn't care for Jillian in a romantic way.

Maybe he never expected to be chosen?

Again, I know it could all be rubbish...but crazier things have happened.

I don't know... it is starting to look more and more like he was. At first I didn't want to believe it but the GMA segment on it was pretty convincing.

If he only was with them during his "break" when he went back to work that would be one thing. But the accusation that he was with one of them after proposing... that's just not cool at all.

I know! and Ed and Jillian didn't really convince me that he was innocent. I wish they had addressed the different mentioned dates that they stated in the clip. Like, "no I wasn't there on the 29th because I was with Jill in this town".....or something like that, ya know? It doesn't mean much to hear Jillian say that "he's not pulling the wool over my eyes" because it seemed to take to her too long to catch on with Wes. Ed just saying that it wasn't true wasn't too convincing. Maybe he could explain who these girls are?

I don't think he has any need to explain it to us in any detail. I hope he has a good explanation for Jillian, though. I have no opinion either way; the girls could be telling the truth but could also just as easily be making it up out of spite or jealousy or whatever.
