stripping diapers / yeast

My son had a yeast diaper rash recently. It cleared up after almost a week in disposables as well as a rinse of water/GSE at each changing. We're also on probiotics now. We added some bleach to the diapers (GM CPFs) to kill the yeast.

After a few days of clear skin I put him back in a CD. Later that same day I noticed that the rash had come back. Would this indicate that the diapers need to be disinfected again? And what's the best way to do it? We're still using the cloth wipes at each changing, and they were washed with the diapers... it seems odd that the wipes are ok and the diapers aren't, but then again the wipes only touch his skin for a moment.

Help, I want to CD again!!!

Boil them and hang them in the sun/ dry on hot.

Like Mrs.Oz said I'd boil and sun but, I'd add a hot wash with GSE too(plus the wipes). Keep a drop or 2 of GSE in the wipe solution(I keep it in a small spray bottle) and continue to use. Sun on the bum helps too!!

Thanks... it's a nice sunny day so we'll give it a try. I imagine that they don't have to be boiled for too long - 10 or 15 minutes?

What about wetbags... should they also be boiled? Should I do anything with my Thirsties covers, or do you think they are ok?
