Asthma meds during BFing

For a maintenance inhaler I was using Azmacort during pregnancy but it's not covered well by insurance so I was paying $60/mo. I'd like to find a different inhaler that's safe for BFing and less expensive. My choices are Asmanex, Flovent HFA, Plumicort and Ovar. According to Webmd Asmanex (mometasone) and Flovent HFA (fluticasone) are not know if they pass into breast milk. Plumicort (budesonide) can pass into breast milk. Ovar isn't listed on Webmd. I checked Kellymom and none of these are listed. I'm wondering what others use?

I have Pulmicort, they give that to babies so I felt better on it when pg than Asmanex.

Sorry - I know this thread is really old, but just in case someone else is looking for an answer - I had great results with pulmicort. It's considered pregnancy category B now.

I switched from Advair to Pulmicort after doing my own personal research (and was met with some OB/MD drama...) during pregnancy and am still on it now while breastfeeding. It's been an awesome maintenance med and doesn't make my heart palpitate nearly as bad as other asthma meds I've tried.

Check Hales.

I have asthma and rarely use my inhaler, but my midwife pretty much said that all inhalers are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
