Indian Cookbooks?

Looking for recommendations and suggestions regarding your favorite cookbooks featuring cuisine from India.

We loooove India food and I'd love to master some of the spices and dishes without always having to go out to eat.

Thanks!

There are two blog writers I read that have reviewed several Indian cookbooks. One of the blog writers is herself Indian, the other is not.

I like The Best International Recipe cookbook. It's more than just Indian recipes, but IMO it's worth buying for the Indian recipes alone, it has amazing recipes for Naan, curries, biryanis, paneer, saag paneer, mulligatawny, samosas, etc.
AllRecipes.com has a ton of wonderful Indian recipes.

My husband is from South India and loves nearly all of the recipes I've tried from both sources.

When dh & I wanted to take on Indian cooking, we used an old copy of Madhur Jaffery's Indian cooking. It's got a lot of good info in general on the various spices/techniques which was really helpful.
We have a copy of The Spice Boxtoo, which I've heard good things about but haven't used it as much. It's a little more easy-going recipe wise and might be another one to check out.
