why do fitteds have such fun patterns....

when they require a cover? I'm new to CD and just am not getting this - they come in the coolest patterns but as far as I understand you have to put a moisture barrier cover over them, right? And even stranger to me, the AIOs and Pockets, which dont' require a cover, seem to mostly be kinda boring solids - I know not ALL, but most...Just curious

A lot of parents, like me, want their kids to go coverless around the house for breathability. That's why a lot of fitteds are cute. Oh, also even if you are using a cover, cute prints make the diaper change itself more fun.

The reason why pockets and AIO's tend not to be as cute is that printed fabrics are much more widely available in (leaky) cotton than in (leakproof) laminated polyester.
