width of mei tei straps

What are the width and length of your mei tei straps? i bought one a few months ago and the straps seem realllly long and wide.

Width of Babyhawk straps is 3.75". I don't know the length.

Most of mine are 4 inches wide or wider because I like wider shoulder straps. There are quite a few out there with 3.5 inch straps that are fine too, I just prefer wider. I would not go narrower than 3.5 inches for fear of them rolling in or starting to dig into the shoulder.

My length of straps are all different lengths. Some people like them longer so they can wrap around back and then front again so they can tie in front instead of the back and vice versa. It also depends on the size of the wearer.

I like mine on the shorter side just so I don't drag them all over.

I make mine about 5 inches wide, and with varying lengths. I like wide straps, but also do it because the straps are easier to turn right sides out that way. For a back carry, you generally need longer straps if you want to do the backpack thing.
