EPO and...uh...stomach upset?

I've had diarrhea/loose stools for the past two freaking weeks. I don't have to go more often than usual but when I go it's definitely not...um...solid at all. It occurred to me today that it might be from the EPO I've been taking. I looked it up online and it does say that diarrhea, gas, etc can happen while taking EPO. I'm sure that's probably whats going on. My midwife seems to think its from the pressure of the baby on my bowels but I've never had this happen before. I almost want to stop taking the EPO and see what happens but I don't want to miss the opportunity to soften my cervix up.

Has anyone else had this experience with EPO?

Yep. Normal.
I'm "pretty loose" too since I take it.

Same here, but I'm happy about it since that means I'm not constipated and in pain from that. I had stopped taking it for a few days 2 weeks ago and got stopped up pretty quickly from baby sitting so low.

I haven't had this experience yet with EPO, but perhaps because I've managed to keep myself regular and happy with probiotics/acidophilus. Before taking any of these products I was pretty miserable, and since taking them I've been super regular and much happier. There has been some... increase in frequency since EPO, but I figured it was an end of pregnancy thing.

Are you taking it orally as well as vaginally? Just wanting to know what to look forward to!

Yeah I'm taking orally and vaginally. I'm also taking a labor prep called "Easy Birthing Formula" with all kinds of herbs in it. And I've been taking probiotics for over a week now (I had been on antibiotics for an UTI a few weeks earlier so I thought maybe that was the cause of my issues). I've never had things loosen up so quickly this far from my due date (I'm 38 weeks, 1 day).
