Not allowed to have a front yard garden...help? - Page 2

I was at Kauffman Memorial Garden this weekend, and they have beds of red and green lettuce, spinach, pansy and violets. I wish I could find a picture. It was very ordered, with nice curves to the plantings. They also included some herbs in some beds.

I don't recall what herbs they had, but I notice my chives, sage and some of the thyme all have nice purple flowers right now.

I am totally going to go with the creeping thyme, that looks beautiful! We did a lot of heavy duty weeding this weekend, and I had to say goodbye to my dandelions (that I planted in a row! They were so beautiful when they all puffed up)

I am in the process of getting huge rocks to line my walkways with.. yay! Everything is starting to come along

Creeping thyme is very nice! I have tons - it takes a bit of foot traffic but I have it planted in retaining walls to kind of trail over the edge...I love it! In 7B you should have no issues with it coming back the next year.
