Anybody up for newbie stash critique?

Hi all! Have gathered lots of advice and then gone nutso on DS - I'm excited b/c I have a big variety of stuff - total spent $210. There are a couple things I am low on, but have a registry going also and my parents have said they will get us some of the big stuff off of that. So here's what I got:
Diapers
(21) Prefolds - infant bleached chinese I beleive - GUC - $20 (plan to get some more for a total of 36)
FITTEDS
(1) Fuzi Buns (old style) small EUC ($6.50)
(2) Dream-Eze medium GUC ($14 for both)
AIOs
(2) ATD small EUC (2 of 4 for $25)
(1) Kushie ultra infant - EUC (1 of 4 for $25)
(1) EDI small - washed, unworn (1 of 4 for $25)
(1) Blue Penguin small EUC (FFS! included with the 4 for $25)
(4) Swaddlebees small (so cute!!) EUC ($40 for all)
POCKETS
(3) B.genius 3.0 never washed/used ($30 for all)
I'm also registered for 3 more BG 3.0s
Covers
(2) Prowrap small used twice ($4/ea)
(2) Thirsties XS used twice ($5.50/ea)
(1) Imse Vimse med EUC ($6.50)
Misc
(30) kissaluvs wipes never used $15
(1) bottle lotion potion $8
(1) diaper sprayer - a really fancy $65 style that was on craiglist for $23

So that's it, then I'm registered for some dancing bear fleece covers, snappies, larger thirsties covers (don't know how long those XSs will last as I think I'll have another big baby), more BG 3.0 pockets, need to get some charlies soap, some bac-out, some wet bags.....but what do you think overall? Am I on the right track? I know new is best but I really cannot afford it, and this seems a good way to get a sense of what kind of fits I like and what type of diaper is going to work best for us. Thanks for any opinions!

Looks like you've gotten some great deals! I haven't used all the brands, but here's what I'm thinking...you'll probably want 5-6 nb covers, as it looks like you're mostly using pf's at first, with a few other things thrown in. Thirsties is really designed to use the xs at first - it goes up to 12 lbs. If you buy the smalls, even with an 9-10 lb nb, I really think the smalls would be too big. Small is designed 12-18 lbs. A good fit is really important to keep those runny nb poos inside the diaper!

Definately looks like you're almost there, though!

Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Good job finding bargains! I hope you at least get to try a Kissaluvs 0 and a newborn Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. You'll probably also want pail liners, wetbags, and pins and Snappis for the prefolds. I'm very glad to see you have a diaper sprayer.

Looks great!

I would suggest as many covers as you can get, You are going to need like 6 for a NB. And i would suggest getting the Imse VImse (just fwiw they tend to run pretty big) ones for a newborn or maybe some wool. The thirsties are sized kinda funny imo. The smalls and xs are pretty small and have a trim fit, but the mediums and larger are HUGE and saggy! Once LOs get a little bigger i think that bumkin covers are great because you can just rinse them in the sink and towl dry them and they are ready to be used again, and they are GREAT for trifolding and they have a backvent (which is why i say older los, so the bf explosions dont go everywhere) so they are not wraped in plastic and can get some air.

Since most of your stuff is cotton (yru prefolds and most of your AIOs are cotton inners) i would skip the charlies unless you have tons of extra $$ and just use a good quality free and clear detergent. Its the synthetic fibers that you want to use charlies for like the BGs and anything with microfiber.

You might also want to see if you can pick up a dozen or 2 of premi/newborn prefolds, they are great for early on to trifold into a tiny cover, and you can use them as inserts and doublers and even mama pads later on. Or you could have someone turn them into prefitteds for you which would be great of those BF explosions.

The only thing i can see that you would NEED is a diaper pail, i just used a trahcan i got at teh dollar store. And a liner for the diaperpail, which you can use a nylon bag in the camping section of walmart, or get one pretty cheap off of FSOT. And a wetbag. And snappies, or pins. And maybe some liners for the newborn stage, but you can make those, all you need is to cut up some microfleece, or even antipill fleece, and thats it.
