Thanks all for the suggestions! Surfing around now to check them out.

Almost all of the "wipe" style were AWFUL with poop, they just smeared it around. With the baby washclothes one or two and Voila clean. Maybe do a combo WC's for the poop and the soft wipes for the pee. I personally lobe Bumgenious's wipes. they are a little $$$ but they hold up well, don't stain and are super soft even a year later. When my second comes along I am restocking my stash with them as mine will be three years old by then.

I also used a pericare bottle for my solution and now I use the sink as ds only get changed 3-4 times a day. I found the Target Circo washclothes stay very soft (compared to the gerbers)

I guess a spray bottle would work better for me in that situation, but I really prefer to just have the wipes ready to go, hence the warmer (or even like a tupperware box). I also like to use a little bit of tto and lavender in my wipes solution.

I've never seen washcloths at my dollar store, nor have I seen 10 washcloths for $5.
Why not carry crying baby with you into the bathroom?

We always did this for my son. Bought a huge bundle of cheapo washcloths at Costco and they worked awesome.

Now that we're expecting #2 (girl) I'm a little more aware of the "softness" of the wipe going in all those nooks and crannies. I have a TON of flannel receiving blankets from my DS, so I'm going to cut soem of those up and make wipes of out those. I won't spend any more money on "special" wipes. I'd rather spend the $$ on nice dipes and covers!
