first communion gift? (for a german girl)

Can anyone suggest a first communion gift, for a RC girl in Germany? We're traveling next week, and this is a girl we've never met (daughter of one of dh's business colleagues). Tia for any ideas!

Well, things like a Rosary or a pretty religious picture or a crucifix for her bedroom are the same, regardless of language. How old is she? If you want to wait to buy the gift in Germany, you might get her an age-appropriate Bible or other religious book.

Might want to just go to a Catholic shop in Germany and ask there for suggestions.

If you know her birthday, or the patron saint of her church/town, maybe a holy medal? A rosary or cross necklace might be nice and not to hard to pack.
