Hi, I guess I will belong here too now

After being a sahm for almost 6 years, I've begun working at home. I've got 2girls, ages 5 1/2 and 3 1/2, and a baby boy on the way.

My dh and I are starting a wholesale gluten & dairy-free bakery. We should be up and running in a couple of weeks. The past few weeks have been very challenging as we pull everything together and prepare for production.

I must say, DH is great in taking care of the kiddies while I'm working, but it's so hard to use the phone sometimes with the noise

Looking forward to learning you all and getting to know you on this end of the MDC

Oh wow! What a wonderful idea!! My kids are gluten dairy egg free, so I love when people specialize in that type business!

Are you going to ship products or just have them locally? if you ship, i would love more info both for myself and for some friends who are GF. I think that in general starting small businesses is very difficult these days, but with more and more people being recognized as GF, it's a great time to start something like this!

Hi, thanks for the welcome

We are going to be shipping the bread to stores, mostly health food stores, and then branch out as quickly as we can!

We've converted a room in our house into the bakery. I no longer have a dining room , but it's worth it for the time being! Someday (in a few years) we'd like to have another building!

We're so excited about it, we've been working on getting started for a long time and we're finally at the home stretch
