need BF photos

As part of an extensive course I am taking on Breastfeeding, I am doing a project which aims to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. For this project I am making a poster and a brochure which features breastfeeding mothers - idealy with supportive family/friends/communnity featured in the photos, and even better if its in a public place. I'm looking for everything from newborn babies to twins to four year old nurslings. My stance is that EVERYONE plays a part in making breastfeeding a success and I'm illustrating this with stats identifying barriers to breastfeeding and ideas for how people can support bf women- from family to shop owners, cafe owners, public servents etc.

So I need photos of breastfeeding moms! If you have a photo of you that you are willing to share, please PM me or post a link here to your photo if its hosted online somewhere. Also please post that I have permission to use it for this project. Thanks so much!!

Sarahfina--how will these photos be used? Just for your project, i.e. basically for private use? I have some I would be happy to share as long as they are not for publication, since they are taken by an artist friend and that's really up to her.

Good question- initially it will be used for the project, but I would love to have the posters also printed and posted in public places. The project doesn't require us to do this, but I want this option, so people sharing photos should be comfortable with this and/or have the freedom to distribute the photo- maybe check with your friend??

I have a few photos that were taken tonight, I can send them to you once I load them onto my computer. They are of me and my son (4months) side-lying nursing on a college campus, taken in the evening. It just looks like a grassy area in the picture though - is that what you're looking for? I'd be happy to share them, I love the pictures!

Hi!
I have a couple that might help you. One is in public (our city park) but is of my then 2 1/2 year old boy waiting to latch while I undo my bra - he's not actually latched on. The second is obviously breastfeeding my almost 2 yo daughter, but has a LOT of boob and is just on our couch. Do you think either would be helpful? I don't have tons because I'm usually the one taking photos, so of course I'm rarely in them, which means we get very few of me nursing even though I've been at it for 5 1/2 years.

If you would like either of them though I'd be more than happy to send them to you.

The last one's my fave, with him smiling his goofy little self. Dh intentionally set the tripod on top of the side table to try to get that looking up at mama look. I loved it!

I have to get someone to email me a photo of dd and me, and I'll let you use it. I have one of a friend and I NIP at the mall--I'll ask her permission to use it. We both posted them on Facebook, so I'm sure she'll be fine with it!
