Thrush, breastfeeding and tooth decay

My 14mo's front teeth came through at 7 mo, around about the same time we started a battle with thrush.

Right from the beginning her top two tooth looked chipped, the dentist said all was well and they will level off in time but the seem to be getting worse. She has about a 2/3mm deep arch missing from the front of each tooth. We are going to the dentist this aft.

I have come across some anecdotal evidence that oral thrush cause/speeds up tooth decay. Does anyone have any more info on this? Also we are co-sleeping and night nursing and I'm worried that I may have cause her teeth to rot!

There does not appear to be any evidence linking night nursing to dental caries. There is a good article about the subject here.

I've never heard of the thrush/tooth decay link, so I can't help you there.

I hope your dentist appointment went well!
