Black bumble bees in garden/yard

So, I love bees and have no problem with them. But, it seems that at least one black bumble bee has taken up residence in our kids' clubhouse in our yard/garden. It is living in what I think is a pre-drilled hole in the clubhouse, and I really do not need a hive out there. So, is there anything I can do to not only get rid of it but also to deter them from coming back?

Sounds like a carpenter bee... they do not hive. Kind of solitary... more of a colony than a hive. Everybody will have their own tunnel to raise their own young. It's not the mass of insects you see with honeybees or wasps.

The females sting, the males can't sting but bite. They chew those tunnels to raise their larvae in.

So, kill one and the hive won't just regrow.
