Redesign opinions?

Can I get some opinions from fellow mamas? I'm not going to link to my actual site because I don't want to spam but will instead link to just screen shots of the before and after.

I've had the same web design for over 2 years and was getting bored with it but still loved it. It was just so "me" and what I do. Its easy to design for other people but MUCH harder for myself! Not to mention finding the time to do it. I stayed up super late to implement a new design and its just "different" than what I'm used to, KWIM?

I need feedback to help decide if I should stay with this new one or go for something else (or stay with old one). I wanted to stay with the same similar color theme because those are "my colours" but more light and white. Make sense?

I like the new one. I think it's softer--easier on the eyes--more pleasant (although your old site was nice too).

I think that the tabs are much easier to read on the second version.

Thank you for the feedback! And Carrin, thats good to hear because I was really worried that the white would be harder to read.
