...sorry if this is dumb, but I am trying to make a wipes solution for my daughter because we have been having diaper rash issues...anyway, went to the local herb store, and told them I needed grapefruit seed extract, and I thought it was an essential oil...they gave me Grapefruit Essential Oil...is that the same thing? Is it okay to use this? Should I not use it? If not, what can I use it for since I already bought it...lol.

Nope, different things. Grape seed extract is actually made from the seeds of grapes.

You can use the grapefruit eo in bath products, etc. (google bath bombs) Just be aware that citrus eo's make skin more vulnerable to sunburn.
