Going on Vacation-- How often should I water while I'm gone?

Hi ladies,

I'm a total garden newbie so please bear with me.

I just planted by first raised vegetable garden today and, unfortunately, I leave for Spain on Thursday for 10 days. I'm going to have a neighbor water it for me while I'm gone. How many times should I ask him to water barring any rain? I planted grape tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, and yellow squash.

Here is our forecast for the next week:

Thanks!

I would give a deep water every other day since they are new transplants, but have your neighbor check daily since other factors than the temp (wind, etc) can dry soil out quickly.

BTW - "unfortunately leaving for Spain" is an oxymoron Have fun!!!

Thanks! I know it's an oxymoron (and I felt silly for typing it) . I'm very excited to be going. This is my first garden so I'm eager for everything to be alive when I get back.
