moby in summer? UV protection safe?

I love my chocolate moby wrap but it's a bit warm. Would it be worth buying a lighter color??? I use it all day long, but don't want to spend the money if it isn't going to make that much of a difference.

I'm really interested in the uv protected sand moby.

ETA: Do you think the UV protection they use is fine to have against a newborns skin, she'll probably be in her dipe like she is today. Thanks!

Maybe a lighter weight wrap would serve you better during the hot season I like the Wrap 'n Wear or the Gypsy Mama!!!

I have a khaki colored moby and it's still hot as heck, I still use it everyday I just wear a tank top and strip my lo down to a diaper. We both still get super sweaty but it works.

Inside it won't be a big deal as we have central air and most public places we go do to. But I do need someething for when we are outside as I have a 4 year old too. I don't want to give baby heat stroke as another poster had said before!

I gave the Rayosan Moby a try last summer & found it to reflect the sun pretty well. I would be hot & so would my lo but the wrap wold be cool to the touch. I think it does work to reflect much of the suns rays but I was a little iffy about the chemicals used so I bought some white cotton jersey to make my own & used it just as often

I love my moby but it was way too hot. I bought a Gypsy Mama Bali Breeze for the summer. I wore it today and we both still got sweaty but it was way cooler than my moby.
