Thinking of restoration, some concerns

I have a question ... hope this is the right place. My partner is circumcised, and both of us are against circumcision. However, we never thought restoring was an option, until I found this forum. Great information here!

My partner is tentatively interested in trying this, but we have some concerns.

He's interested in restoring because he thinks nature put a piece of skin there for a reason, and he'd like it back. I'm supporting him either way on this. I love him just the way he is, but if he wants to do this for himself - I'm on board.

What we're wondering is this: I've read about the problems some people (men and women) experience during sex with circumcision. We have none of those problems. My partner is 43, for the record.

I'm wondering if we should still go ahead and do it. I mean, are there other benefits to restoration besides the sexual aspect?

We're also concerned about "breaking" it - sorry I know that sounds funny. But, you know how the saying goes "if it's not broke, don't fix it." So, what if we try restoration, and then begin having problems? Should we even try it, considering there are no issues right now?

The other thing is - my partner is a hardcore cyclist, so he wears the tight lycra daily for his morning rides. Is that something he can do while restoring, or no?

I'm sorry if these concerns sound really silly , but I couldn't find any information about a man restoring, despite there being no problems. Or if restoration ever lead to problems.

Hi, we are no longer hosting restoration discussion per our new revised guidelines, but I know there are many helpful websites out there to help your partner make an informed decision. I'm keeping the thread on the board so those in the know can PM you and please see the Resource thread for more information
