Well ladies, birth day is here I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has flown by.

My c/s is scheduled for 2pm EST. Any prayers, support, good vibes, etc. you're able to send our way would be greatly appreciated! I'll post an update as soon as I'm able.

Can't wait to see who has been cooking in there all this time

Natalie Marie has made her entrance. 7lbs 12oz, 21" long. Beautiful. Unfortunately her lungs have been needing some help - fluid on them and she's working hard to keep her oxygen levels up, so she's been in the NICU since birth. Sigh. They put her on a cpap machine and GI tube this morning (to help keep the air out that the cpap machine can get in the belly). It's really hard seeing her all hooked up to tubes and not being able to hold her. Hopefully tonight we can do some kangeroo care. I started pumping last night and they gave her her first feed of colostrum this afternoon through the GI tube. We can also get donor breastmilk through the milk bank fortunately. Might have to stay in NICU for 4-5 days, official dx is respiratory distress syndrome. Will be so glad when we can b/f and go home.

I'm doing well recovery wise. Up and about pretty easily, fortunately.
