It took me awhile to place her too but she was Kimberly and Steve's daughter right?

Not Kimberly but Kayla same family tree though but yeah Steve (or Patch) and Kayla's she was recast I like the new Stephanie better she matches the show better if that makes any sense at all

Anyway back to the Jumparounds. I noticed that they never have different outfits on......

Bumping this old thread up to ask...

Why are The Jumparounds now called "The Fresh Beat Band?" There was no sign of them on Noggin all July, and now they are back with a new name, but the same songs. Bizarre.

I know!!! (and I was thinking of this thread when I saw it) I was hoping when they disappeared that meant they were gone for good. What a lame name too.

DH's theory is that "The Jumparounds" was already copyrighted and they got sued for using it, so they had to change their name.

I like how they still use the same commercial as before, just have the new name dubbed in (poorly).

Yes, DS watches way too much Noggin.

No one has mentioned the lip syncing:...my two boys love to dance and if the jump arounds pop on...they go nuts...I am going nuts as I have had loco legs stuck in my brain now for days and sing it in my dreams...as for the PP mentioning the ages of the dancers...yeah creepy...way too saccharine!

The boys are only allowed to watch Noggin and there are a few shows that we jump up and turn off if it happens to be on...Yo Gabba Gabba...I can't get past the puppets...they are stupid...so that show is a no-go...however, my older son is desperate to watch it for more than a "move to the music" moment. Wow Wow Wubzy...annoying! My list could go on and on for shows I hate...which is most of them even Dora and Diego. I do still love the Backyardigans even though Jack has mostly moved on from them. Little Bear and Franklin I like, as I do Miss Spider. Toot and Puddle is okay but the theme song also shows up in my headin the middle of the night...ugh! Little Bill is cute too.

I will have to watch for this one. I am sure it would annoy the poop outta me. I can not stand the shows like that.

As for Yo Gabba Gabba....My dh and I think that the people who make that show are probably high on something. Does anyone else think that? Seriously!

I agree the show is annoying.

I see what she means...my son's behavior was always worse after watching Max & Ruby. I had to stop letting him watch it.

I'm pretty sure that's it... There is another kid band called "The Jumpitz" and I'm pretty sure the Jumparounds got sued because of it...
