Hah.
Sorry, my version of "not too far" is a little relative. I lived in Thompson, Manitoba for a good many years where the nearest other place resembling modern civilization is about 5 hours away. Depending on the weather and the driver, it's a 6 to 10 hour drive north of Winnipeg- assuming of course that you don't spin out on black ice and get stuck in a ditch. There were snowmobiles trails all over town too, so...

I am going to try not to freak out and just assume that baby is gonna show up before. The plan is for a second sweep tomorrow and the cocktail on Friday after a non-stress test. Tracy (who is normally so right) is sure baby comes this week.
Beware of the OBs at the NST! If they try to talk you/scare you into induction do your best to go home and think on it for the night unless you think there is something seriously wrong. Aren't you only 40+4 or something? Why are they doing NSTs already?

Thanks for the sniffing offer might pick you up on it... How is it going with him by the way? You're doing ok? Tell me if you need something, I still only have 1 to deal with
We may be over at Hawthorne Park on Friday afternoon (weather permitting) with all 4 kids. Come on by if you're not in labour by then! DD naps from 1-3 or so, so we'll be there 3ish to 5ish I would guess. Nothing needed here, my mom is here helping out and my MIL is here if I get desperate after my mom leaves. And DH is pretty good about doing his fatherly duties. Whiney about no sex, but good other than that

Will be 41 at the end of the week. The MWs practice is cool at letting me go, but they just like to monitor a bit and since RC can handle NST and US more than SMH, it is pretty much standard with them, unless moms don't want... But I am fine with it. I have been through induction and OB scares before . I much more skilled than I used to be in telling them to buzz off! ALthough I have to say it all depends on who's working. Some are good and don't go through the whole scare thing... I am still not over the one who threatened to take DD to the NICU before she was even born, beacuse I wasn't GBS screened though and told me baby might die

Might just do that... But Friday is the francophone day the the children festival too... That is actually the only day this week I am hoping to still be pregnant

So, on the possibility that nothing is happening because I'm stressed out, I am taking a glass of wine and going to sit in the tub. I don't care if it is before supper and the kids are still about. DH isn't busy presently (a rare treat) so I'm taking my chance while I've got it.

Going crazy again this am, ctx are still there; not timeable but strong enough that I cannot sleep :.

Had a long chat with baby last night trying to convince him/her out...

Gotta figure out what to do with DD during my MW apointement this pm... I do not feel comfortable taking her when I have an internal. DH won't be back from work. I was somehow just hoping that the apointement would not happen.

Here's what I get with timing... Just all over the place
7:28:53 AM 7:29:51 AM 0:58 6 m, 31 s
7:22:22 AM 7:23:24 AM 1:1 7 m, 14 s
7:15:09 AM 7:16:06 AM 0:56 3 m, 10 s
7:11:59 AM 7:12:55 AM 0:54 5 m, 50 s
7:06:09 AM 7:07:04 AM 0:54 6 m, 11 s
6:59:58 AM 7:00:53 AM 0:54 3 m, 18 s
6:56:40 AM 6:57:33 AM 0:51 7 m, 11 s

Yuck, my first labour was like that. Sex? Nipple stimultion? Take a Benadryl to get some sleep?

I'd offer to take your DD but I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't be ok with that!

Thanks. You've got enough right now my dear.
Sex has not made anything move more yet, but it does make me sleep . I did sleep last night, just woke up early, so still reasonnable... Will see tonight.
As for the nipple stim, Monkey is doing a fairly good job
DH ended up coming to the apointemnt with me. It gave him a great reason to go spend some $ at the nice toy store next door
Will try to kick myself tomorrow and go to the Children festival a little...
