I have known one site for this favecrafts.com that helps with free knitting patterns. One can learn a lot from this site. This site also showcases interesting free july 4th crafts!

Not a tute, but I can tell you how...make 18-21" squares, and make rolled hems, they're pretty simple! The 21" squares would be for "dinner" napkins and the 18" would be for luncheon size.

I just cut rectangles, double the size of the square napkins I wanted, folded in half to squares right sides together and sewed. Left a little hole to turn them right side out and topstitched all around the edges. I made a couple dozen in 4 days. One day cut, one day sew inside out, one day turn, one day topstitch.

Hi, I know you posted this question a while back and already have some answers but I also have been looking and just ran across this tutorial http://angharadhandmade.blogspot.com...torial_06.html.
I like that they are double sided. I haven't tried it yet but plan to.
