What next?

When I was pregnant I bought a set of prefolds and bswws in small & newborn from a coworker to "give cloth a try." Now that DS is big enough to need medium covers I thought maybe I should consider whether I wanted to stick with these or switch to something else. we've enjoyed the bswws but i read the velcro doesn't hold up on the medium sized ones. Any recs?

fwiw ds is pretty skinny, he's threatening to walk any day now (very active!), and we line dry diapers. we use sposies at night.

are you wanting to do covers still or try something totally new like pocket dipes or aios?

If prefolds and bsww work for you, I say stick with what works. I've never had a problem with bsww velcro.

I would second or third that I never had problems with the velcro on the Bummis SWW's. If it works for you now, you may as well continue with what works...unless you were wanting to change.

I haven't had any velcro issues with the SWW either. I have several that have been through 3 kids.

If you like the system you have going, and you don't have a reason to want to try something new, there's no harm in sticking with what works! The Bummis Super Brights are nice covers too, if you wanted to change up the prints and colors, but still stick with the Bummis.

Yes, Bummis are a great cover and hold up really well.

If you want to try something different, medium is a good size to branch out into all-in-ones and pockets b/c most kids stay in mediums for awhile. My favorite pockets are FuzziBunz and Green Acre Designs. These are really convenient for when you are out and about and quick changes once the baby flips over and crawls away during changes.
