I have a Kangaroo Korner Pouch/sling that is polar fleece, fairly stretchy. My baby is 19 months old, about 23 lbs. I actually don't use this carrier anymore, but my 21 year old nanny who comes 3 days per week wears my baby in it to get my baby to sleep for a nap every day. In fact, my baby will get the sling and bring it to my nanny when she wants to go to sleep.
Now my nanny is leaving us in August. She will have been w/us for 2.5 years, since before my baby was born (I have 2 older kids). She and my baby are very bonded and this is going to be hard on the baby and the nanny. I have thoughts of wrapping the carrier up and giving it to my nanny (along with some other nice gift) to have as a keepsake of her time with my baby, and so that she can use it someday when she has babies. But I wonder if instead I should try to start using it again for my baby's sake since she is kind of attached to that carrier (I have other carriers). By the end of Aug my baby will be almost 2. I nurse her to sleep and my baby never brings that carrier to me, I can't remember the last time I used it.
Should I keep it and try to use it w/a two year old? Or should I make it a sentimental gift for our nanny?
Sorry if this is a stupid question.

) then I would pass it on. Unless you plan on having more kids and would use it. Crap.. I hope I'm not making this more complicated. If baby will be fine without it and you don't need it, regift it. Thats my vote.
