it finally happened!!! (not Lilah)

we officially have an office/guest room. halle-frikin-lujah.

DH finally had his last straw with the mother's day card dibacle. so he and ss had "the" conversation. and he is packing up his clothes in boxes and moving to his mother's house.

what he doesn't understand is that his mother will charge him rent and be harder on him than we ever were. and, well.... to put it in DH's words: "You've obviously outgrown being here and doing what we ask..." and made it clear the it had nothing to do with lilah coming home.

thank god it was amicable. and thank god i can bring my baby home (sometime) to a house of peace.

and DH just came in to tell me he is completely packed and will be out tonight.

so, for those who remember the whole, long story, i thought you would celebrate with me. :

That's great news! Hopefully he will take if for what it is and learn from the experience. I hope that he looks back on this in hindsight and realizes what an a** he's been to you and his father. Sometimes it takes drastic measures for people to realize how they have been acting (and sometimes nothing will make a difference).
