A Good Carrier for Summer Camping

Hi Mamas,

Hoping someone can recommend a good sling or front carrier for taking a 3 month old to a 3 day music fest/camping. There will be some uphill walking but no real hiking per se, so I don't think I'm going to get a backpack carrier. I currently use a ring sling with dd (an old school Sling-E-Z) but given myself or dh will be likely wearing baby most of the trip, wondering what else might be a more supportive option...any camping experiences?

anything that gives you two shoulder support would be my vote. your choices range from wraps to mei tais to ssc's.

with a baby of that age i'd go with a mei tai. My kozy gets a lot of use while camping because it's indestructible and super comfy. i'm normally a SSC fan when it comes to camping, but with a baby that small i don't think a SSC is the best choice - though maybe something like a Beco Butterfly or a Calyx that have the internal support might be OK if you wanted to go that route.
