What award would you win compared to the others here? - Page 4

Not an award I'm excited about it....but I definitely have the lowest milk supply. My best guess is that I make about 4-5 ounces per DAY. We're supplementing at the breast though so at least she's getting all the other non-nutritive benefits of breastfeeding.

I have a low supply too and I dont want to use herbs but Im massaging my breasts using the techniques in the video someone posted on one of these threads for me. Did you see it? I literally almost doubled my supply in one day.

Ill take it!

The nurses said that she ALMOST won for biggest baby but was beat by a diabetic mom who refused to control her diabetes and had a 15 lb baby!!!

Poor little babe, ear infections are the worst!

I guess she could have the award of the baby who spent the most time naked ? In 5 weeks she must have worn 5 t-shirts (we try to put a new one every time she goes out, so we can tell the people who gave them that we used their gifts ) I don't know who else is ECing here but she really spend most of the day naked (or just with a diaper on when her daddy is here).
Oh I love this picture!!!!!

I think Sophia might tie for most naked-ness because the drugs make her hot so shes worn 3 outfits, but overheated so they were taken off. But if she was at home there is no way Id come close to winning this award, I have WAY too many clothes for her to wear!

I win for the first person to start gaining weight

I had lost 13lbs and now I've gained 4!

I really wish I couldn't top that, but I've gained 5 lbs (since of course the dramatic loss in the first week or so). And that is tandem nursing with a 1 year old who thinks solids have lost all appeal!

Just measured- feet (from heal to tippy toe) 3 1/2 inchs. Hands- (from palm to middle finger point) 3 inchs. He takes after his dad on this- Dh's hands are huge!
I was going to nominate DS for this award (And big head - it was 39 cm when he was born!) Haven't measured them, but they're huge! His feet were too big for most 0-3 month sleeper outfits from birth, and the hands look totally disproportionate (though he's also a big guy). DH also has enormous hands and feet and head.

He could also get an efficient nursing award - he's like the other LO mentioned on here, only nursing for 5-10 min at a time max, every 2-3 hours (usually more like 3).
And perhaps the biggest grunter/snorter award? I cant get over all the noises he makes!

Thread Starter
mine sleeps a ton. i know all babies sleep a lot, but this guy tends to sleep in his sling and i sling him all day almost, so he's almost constantly asleep. I remember dd use to be in the sling a lot but she'd be awake for a bit. if this one;s awake he's crying.

I have IGT so no matter what I do my supply can't increase. I've tried everything possible. Herbs, domperidone, pumping, SNS, the works!! And I have tried breast compression (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about, I didn't see that thread) and it doesn't help either.

Award for most like a dairy cow here. I was producing 96 oz in a day before i got hit by a horrid case of mastitis.

I was going to say shortest active labor, it was 2 hours, but someone else already said they had an hour.
