I know some people use vinegar, but I'm not sure what for or when to use it in the diaper washing process. If you use vinegar and it helps, would you let me know how much and when to put it in the wash/rinse cycle?
I also put it in the first cold rinse cycle, before I wash them. I use one cup. I'm pretty sure it helps. I was having stink problems, then I started using the vinegar and an extra hot rinse. So it's either the extra rinse or the vinegar that's working. Either way, it can't hurt!

I think that while vinegar may SLIGHTLY wear down PUL it is worth it if it works to keep your stinkies away. I know a ton of people that used 1/2 cup or a cup of vinegar in every wash and their diapers lasted years. I would rather cut a couple months off the life of my diapers than have to strip every couple weeks or have horrible reeking diapers...
