Tip for those still waiting to deliver (hospital birth)

BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER!!!

I had never done it before so didn't bother, despite seeing messages suggesting to. You would think they would splurge on soft TP for L&D. NOPE! It was thin sand paper!

SO bring a roll of your own. Seriously! You'll be glad you did!

Anybody else have tips now that they've given birth recently?

bring witchhazel pads in case the hospital doesn't offer them

It's a good thing my bag isn't in the car yet, clearly there are a few things I still need to throw in! I have witch hazel spray, that I was going to use on pads afterward. Would that work? They should have pads, I can just spray them right?

I would think so. They offered me some of the frozen pads so I bet spraying witch hazel on those would rock for swollen and sore areas.
